Several years ago we did a big remodel in our kitchen. I decided to be the contractor to save money, I did save a lot of money and I learned a lot about tiling, dry wall, demolition, electricians, plumbers and various other contracted people. The first step was demolition, I have each of our four boys a hammer and let them start taking out the wall between the living room and kitchen.
