Flowers At Christmas

Flowers at Christmas are as important as the tree, fairy lights and the turkey for me; they are such a big part of Christmas that you probably just take them for granted and haven’t even realised how essential they are to the season. They are mentioned in Christmas songs, a few carols and who doesn’t want to have a kiss under the Mistletoe with Santa on Christmas Eve? Whilst in my family there will always be the ongoing debate over a live or artificial Christmas tree being best; There is no doubt that the flowers and plants that are in season in December are best fresh and brought from an Interflora Florists. Hyacinths, Poinsettias, Narcissus, Holly and Ivy have all featured in flower displays in my Grandparents and parents homes and I have carried on these traditions in my home too.
