Testing and tagging of equipment and appliances is a safe way to make sure all your appliances are in working order and safe to use without fault. It can be inexpensive, especially if you get all of your appliances or electrical equipment done at the same time. Reporting of the log book system can be utilized to carry on with ongoing tagging of equipment which is done every 3 months. The tester company should fully fill out the tag and should include the name of the technician and the technician’s company, along with the date tested and the retest date. All workplace situations are different and the consistency of testing depends on the roughness of the surrounding conditions. There might be multiple surroundings in the one workplace, which means that some appliances might need to be re-tested in as short as 3 months if the surroundings are rough. However, if the surroundings are less damaging in effect to the appliance itself, re-test dates may widen the range to a time period of anywhere up to 5 years.
